Activate your pelvic floor

The pelvic floor is a women’s health physiotherapist’s best friend… and for good reason.

A healthy pelvic floor can make such a huge difference to your pregnancy, birth and post-natal experience.

The pelvic floor muscles are responsible for continence, sexual sensations and supporting your pelvic organs (aka preventing prolapse!).

It is vital you understand how these muscles work because the stronger they are during pregnancy, the better they will recover after birth.
